Their distinctive instruments combine internal bracing features of Sergeišs designs along with the bridge design influence of John Gilbert. This guitar is very typical of that combination, being a very clear, brilliant easy to play well balanced and efficiently projecting instrument. Alanšs work is every bit the equal of his father Sergei, as is his french polishing. In near mint condition, this is a very satisfying instrument to hold and play, and an excellent bargain to boot.
